Injectables and Cosmetic Surgery

Although non-surgical procedures give excellent temporary solutions to cosmetic enhancements, they do not provide permanent results. With technological advances in surgery, we are able to provide more precise results, faster recovery options and safer surgery to our patients. Surgery is not just for the aging face, but also for those that desire to change what mother nature failed to give us: fuller lips (as well as smoother complexions, higher cheekbones and sculpted faces.)

Permanent lip augmentation results in beautifully sculpted and lifted lips with materials that resist absorption into the body, unlike temporary injectables. This procedure is generally performed under local anesthetic, and in some cases, light sedation.

Recovery: You may resume your normal routine immediately following the procedure if a local anesthetic was used. If sedation was required, then you may resume your normal activities the next day. Swelling and bruising last anywhere from a few days to one week

There are a number of permanent lip augmentation options available based upon the material used, and most of the materials are comprised of synthetic substance(s). The benefit of such is that the likelihood for allergic reaction and rejection are diminished, problems often associated when the materials are derived from animals or other humans.
